A win at Mt Panorama is better than winning the championship – just ask three time winner Greg Murphy! The 6.2km scenic drive around Mt Panorama comes to life every October for what is quite possibly the world’s greatest touring car race.
If you have not been to Bathurst before, nothing can prepare you for your first sight of the Mountain. It IS actually a mountain, the track is very steep, very narrow, and to see a V8 Supercar come through Reid Park and disappear over Skyline on full throttle is something you will remember forever.
This is truly one of motorsport’s iconic events, and a genuine “must do” experience.

The world takes on Australia at their own game in a unique opportunity to see the many of greatest names from all disciplines of the sport.
This year the Gold Coast plays host to a list of the world’s best known names in motorsport for the Armour All 600, two 300km races on the streets of Surfers Paradise. Of course, for local race fans, the V8 Supercars are the only game in town, and this year the event has a new and exciting twist. Each team must run an International driver, and a who’s who of touring car, sports car, IRL and Formula One names are taking on what is regarded as the worlds toughest touring car championship.

With the worlds greatest drivers in the worlds fastest cars, this truly is the pinnacle of motorsport. The Albert Park circuit is only a short tram ride from the city centre, and the Melbourne skyline makes a majestic backdrop with Albert Park Lake in the foreground on a track ideal for overtaking – not something you will find at all Grand Prix circuits.
As well as Formula One, the weekend has a full programme of V8 Supercars, as well as Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini in the GT races, and a great field of Historic cars. This is an event which caters to all motorsport fans.
