    MANAGING DIRECTOR

    In the 28 years of owning House of Travel Christchurch City, I have successfully developed a passionate and award-winning team of travel specialists. Our HOT Events brand was formed in 2005, when I saw the need for passionate New Zealander’s showcasing our great country’s to visitors from throughout the world. From our first event hosting 5,000 IBM delegates in Christchurch to running 40+ programs a year over multiple continents – we are here to deliver the best experience for you.

    Our team of event professionals can take you to the destinations that you have dreamed of and let you know inside information that will enrich your experience. The highly experienced travel consultants will exceed your expectations leaving no stone unturned to ensure a seamless travel experience every time. From my beginnings in customer sales and service, travelling to over 60 countries, my primary focus is overseeing all divisions of our business, and growing our ever popular Sporting Events Programmes. A highlight is delivering a highly successful games campaigns with our New Zealand Olympic Travel team. This includes all New Zealand Team Athlete Travel to providing a family and friends programme as well as a world class corporate offering for sponsors.

    I am however most proud of the team for us being awarded three top awards at the National Travel Industry Awards - Best Retail Travel Agency in New Zealand, Best Travel Consultant in New Zealand, Best Groups Team in New Zealand.

    Unmatched in her lifetime experience within the conference and incentive travel industry, Victoria heads-up HOT Events and truly delights in delivering fantastic results for our clients.

    Making magic happen is Victoria’s specialty. She understands what is required to deliver top experiences for delegates and incentive visitors. In high demand by both clients and colleagues alike, Victoria is keen to share her skills and works closely with the team to ensure every part of a programme, from concept to delivery, is exceptional.

    Although Victoria’s hospitality management studies included chef training – it doesn’t mean she does a lot of it now – preferring to hunt out the latest wining and dining options in town. She does bring this knowledge to the table when hosting groups on or off shore – ensuring the venue is the ideal place for the specific’s group’s requirements. With her wicked sense of humour and her reputation as a people’s person, Victoria is committed in delivering first class service to her clients.
