Over the years I have been to many ITU world Championship events, One such was 2016 on Cozumel Island Mexico. Transport involved not just planes but also buses, ferries, taxi vans and last but not least, pedal carts. It was reassuring to have the HOT representative and their Spanish speaking local agent on hand at every trans-shipment point to make sure the team, and more importantly their bikes, kept together for the somewhat complicated journey.
