2026 World of WearableArt® Show – A Celebration of Creativity Like No Other
Prepare for an unforgettable experience at the 2026 World of WearableArt® (WOW) Show!
Seen by 60,000 people annually in Wellington, New Zealand – the WOW Show transforms the TSB Arena into a living gallery. Often described as “Broadway meets Cirque du Soleil,” it’s a dazzling arena spectacle where dancers, live music, aerialists, cutting-edge visuals, and emotive soundscapes bring each wearable masterpiece to life.
At the heart of WOW is the world’s premierwearable art competition. Every garment on stage is a finalist in the WOWCompetition, selected for its imaginative storytelling and executionexcellence. The competition offers a global platform for artists and designersto break boundaries and tell stories through movement, form, and their chosenmedia. Over NZD$200,000 in prizes are awarded, including the coveted SupremeWOW Award.
Enjoyed by an audience of over one million since its inception, the WOWShow is an unmissable journey into the extraordinary, with near-perfect audience satisfaction. It’s an annual must-do for many who gather their loved ones from around the motu (country), and a bucket list item for international visitors keen to experience the best of Aotearoa New Zealand's performance talent alongside world class wearable art and show design.
